  Absolutely brilliant buying experience! I have just bought an e-Bike through the Cycle2Work scheme and spent a lot of time researching the various brands. I looked at the GreenEdge CS2/16 which is exclusive to e-Bikes Direct and viewed the linked review video but I still had questions. I emailed the list and included the other bikes I was considering. The response was honest, forthright and very helpful. They did not rubbish the other bikes and gave a fair comparison / opinion. I ordered the bike late on a Wednesday and it was with me on Friday. Fully set up in the box and well packaged for protection. It arrived completely without damage and with only pedals to add, handlebars to straighten and seat to adjust. The bike itself is absolutely excellent. Build quality is spot on. It looks good, it feels good and (considering it sits at the lower end of the price range) is in no way cheaply made. Riding for the first time it had obviously been fully checked before dispatch and it was without any issue at all. It is light and well balanced considering the battery and the accessories (I ordered with mudguards and rack) are high quality too. The motor assistance is very clever. I live in a hilly area of West Yorkshire and the whole issue of riding to and from work is one of motivation. The hill on the return journey is constant and I just do not enjoy returning home breathless and sweaty. Public transport doesn't function at some of the times I start and taking the car is a yearly expense over twice the cost of this bike. I have to say I have not enjoyed cycling as much in years! The motor on assistance level two provides just the right amount of extra effort rather than the feeling of being pushed along and as you start to flag it steps up a little more. Conversely when you are putting in the effort it backs off and lets you get the exercise. The result is a quick and comfortable journey, good exercise but with the assurance that you are not going to be exhausted (unless you switch it all off and want to be). The battery life is superb too. It states that 30 miles is the range. Now I appreciate that there are difference levels of assistance and a multitude of factors affecting battery life however, for the first 30 miles of commuting with assistance set at level two and my weight approaching the load capacity, the battery indicator never moved from full. Cannot speak highly enough of the bike. Truly the right choice. Cannot speak highly enough of e-Bikes Direct. Excellent company to deal with.
